According to the Ministry’s media unit, the ship has brought a total of 36,000 metric tons of fuel to the country. This includes 18,000 metric tons of diesel and a further 18,000 metric tons of octane 92 petrol.
The Ministry stated that unloading operations commenced soon after the vessel docked, with fuel transfers already underway to the Kolonnawa Fuel Storage Complex. Officials added that the shipment is expected to support the country’s ongoing fuel supply requirements.
