A five-hour water cut will be implemented today (29) in several areas within the Dehiwala–Mount Lavinia Municipal Council limits, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced.
The interruption is due to a power outage affecting the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
Accordingly, water supply will be suspended from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the areas of Kalubowila, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, Moratuwa (Rawathawatta), and Soysapura.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to make prior arrangements to avoid inconvenience during this period.
