The interruption is due to a power outage affecting the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
Accordingly, water supply will be suspended from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the areas of Kalubowila, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, Moratuwa (Rawathawatta), and Soysapura.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to make prior arrangements to avoid inconvenience during this period.
