As part of Sri Lanka’s ambitious National Digital Strategy, the Ministry of Digital Economy has launched an island-wide public survey to support the creation of a citizen-centric “Government Super App” a single digital platform designed to provide seamless access to all government services.

The proposed Super App aims to transform the way citizens interact with the State by bringing multiple public services under one digital roof, enabling faster, simpler and more convenient access from anywhere in the country.

To ensure the platform is easy to use, visually appealing and accessible to people from all walks of life, the Ministry is conducting the survey in collaboration with WAD International (Pvt) Ltd. The initiative will focus on designing the app’s branding, visual identity and user experience to meet the needs and expectations of the public.

Officials stressed that public participation is vital in shaping the structure and functionality of the app. Feedback gathered through the survey will directly influence how information is organised, how services are presented and how future features are developed.

The Ministry noted that citizen input will play a key role in building a more efficient, transparent and people-focused digital governance system. Members of the public are therefore encouraged to take part in the survey and contribute to shaping the future of Sri Lanka’s digital public services.
