Parliament to convene at 9.30 a.m. today (18)

The time from 9.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. has been allocated for parliamentary business as stipulated under Standing Order 22 (1–6).

From 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., time has been set aside for Questions for Oral Answers, followed by questions under Standing Order 27(2) from 11.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

From 11.30 a.m. until 5.00 p.m., Parliament is scheduled to debate and approve three regulations under the Special Commodity Levy Act. In addition, proposals published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 2464/15 under the Customs Ordinance (Chapter 235) will be taken up for approval. Two orders under the Motor Traffic Act (Chapter 203) are also scheduled to be debated during this session.

Thereafter, from 5.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., an Adjournment Motion moved by the Government is scheduled to be taken up for debate.
