A few showers may occur in Northern, Eastern and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa, Matale and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
Fairly strong winds of about 40 kmph can be expected at times over Eastern slopes of the central hills, Northern province and in Hambantota and Monaragala districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Badulla, Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.

Showers may occur at a few places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Mannar to Pottuvil via Kankasanthurai and Trincomalee. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Kaluthara to Hambantota via Galle in the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be (30-40) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to (45-50) kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Mullaittivu via Puttalam and Kankasanthurai from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Mullaittivu via Puttalam and Kankasanthurai from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be fairly rough at times. The other sea areas around the island will be moderate.
