Accordingly, a special train will operate today (24) from Maradana to Matara, departing at 3.00 p.m.
In addition, on the 29th, a special train will depart from Matara Railway Station at 5.00 a.m. and arrive at Colombo Fort at 8.30 a.m.
The Department of Railways further stated that the Colombo Fort–Kankesanthurai Intercity Express train service will also operate on the 25th and 28th.
