Several spells of showers may occur in Central, Uva and Eastern provinces and in Polonnaruwa and Mullaittivu districts.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Kaluthara, Badulla, Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.

Condition of Rain:
Light showers may occur in the sea areas off the coast extending from Trincomalee to Pottuvil via Batticaloa. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Kaluthara to Hambantota via Galle in the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be (30-40) kmph. Wind speed can increase up to 50 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam, and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be rough at times. The other sea areas around the island will be moderate.
