A total of 945 suspects have been arrested as part of the ‘Ratama Ekata’ national operation aimed at disrupting the supply of drugs across Sri Lanka.
According to the Police, 16 suspects have been remanded in custody for further investigation, while 17 others have been referred for rehabilitation.
The operation also led to the seizure of 637 grams of ice, 285 grams of heroin, 3.432 kilograms of cannabis plants, and a large quantity of other drugs, authorities said.
