The training programme focused on enhancing technical rescue skills, air-sea rescue operations, and helicopter-based emergency response procedures. It was carried out in line with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, ensuring internationally recognized safety and operational benchmarks.
Officials stated that the exercise plays a vital role in improving the SLAF’s ability to respond effectively to aviation emergencies, natural disasters, and maritime rescue missions, while reinforcing teamwork and precision among rescue personnel.
