The Supplementary Estimate was presented to Parliament yesterday (18) by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. Following a debate held today from 10.00 a.m. to 6.10 p.m., the proposal was approved without a vote.
The approved funds will be utilized to support relief measures, livelihood restoration, and the reconstruction of essential infrastructure in disaster-affected areas across the country.
