SLT-MOBITEL, Sri Lanka’s National ICT Solutions Provider, has officially made its 5G network publicly available, marking a significant step forward in the country’s digital transformation journey and opening access to next-generation connectivity for citizens nationwide.

The launch enables Sri Lankans to experience ultra-fast speeds and low-latency connectivity, while laying the foundation for a broader digital ecosystem that is expected to transform how people learn, work, and live. Commenting on the milestone, Sudharshana Geeganage stated that 5G is a critical enabler of inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
