Colombo Magistrate Asanga S. Bodharagama today (17) ordered the release on bail of a suspect who had been remanded in custody in connection with the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder incident.
The suspect, identified as Udara Nirmal, was granted bail on two surety bonds of Rs. 500,000 each.
Udara Nirmal had been arrested and remanded on suspicion of providing SIM cards linked to the murder investigation. Further investigations into the incident are ongoing.
