People who lost or damaged their spectacles during the recent floods will be provided with a new pair of glasses free of charge under a special assistance programme.
The initiative is being carried out by the Sri Lanka Community Ophthalmologists Association in collaboration with Care for Lanka USA, with the aim of supporting flood-affected individuals regain essential vision care.
Those in need are requested to send a WhatsApp message to 0777 971 376 for further details and assistance.
Organisers said the programme is part of ongoing efforts to help communities recover from the impact of the floods and encouraged affected persons to come forward and seek support.
