Another shipment of Indian aid under Operation Sagar Bandhu arrived at the Colombo Port yesterday to support Sri Lankans affected by Cyclone Ditwah.

The Coast Guard Ship Shaurya delivered 54.4 tonnes of essential food items, including rice, lentils, and milk powder.

The handover ceremony was held yesterday evening, with Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, Janitha Ruwan Kodituwakku, receiving the supplies on behalf of Sri Lanka. The Deputy Minister expressed his heartfelt gratitude to India, noting that the aid has provided crucial support to the country in the aftermath of the devastating cyclone.
