An oil leak was reported from a pipeline while a vessel was unloading crude oil at the Colombo Port, authorities said.
Cleanup operations are being carried out jointly by the Sri Lanka Coast Guard and the Marine Environmental Protection Authority to remove the contaminated water and prevent environmental damage.
