The Ministry of Housing Construction and Water Supply says the public can contribute towards rebuilding houses damaged by recent disasters.

The government has launched an expedited programme to reconstruct homes affected by the disaster situation that prevailed across the country. In line with this effort, the Ministry has called on the public to support the rapid implementation of housing construction activities.

Accordingly, individuals and organisations willing to donate land, provide house plans, technical expertise, construction services, or supply building materials are encouraged to come forward and assist the programme.

For further information and to make contributions, the public can contact the special hotline numbers 070 785 1302 and 070 785 1303, the Ministry said.
