Blue Skies Aviation Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s leading aviation service providers, has stepped forward to support national relief efforts by donating aviation lubricants valued at Rs. 5 million to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF).
The donation was officially handed over to Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) by the company’s Managing Director, Wing Commander Don Asitha Manage (Retd), during a ceremony held at the Defence Ministry on 10 December 2025.
The contribution includes high-grade AeroShell 500 lubricants, which are essential for the maintenance of Bell 412 and Bell 212 helicopters. These aircraft are currently engaged in widespread humanitarian and relief operations across the country following the recent disaster.
Officials said ensuring the airworthiness of SLAF helicopters is vital, as they continue to play a crucial role in rescue, supply distribution, and emergency response missions nationwide.
