The Department of Examinations has announced that the postponed subjects of the 2025 GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examination, disrupted due to adverse weather, will be held in January 2026.
Examinations Commissioner General A.K. Sindika Kumari Liyanage said the examinations will resume on January 12 and continue until January 20. The revised timetable has already been published.
Students who were unable to attend the previously scheduled examinations due to weather-related disruptions must inform their respective school principals, who are required to notify the zonal education offices and the Examinations Commissioner General.
