According to the Sri Lanka Railway Station Masters’ Association, passengers holding season tickets that expired at the end of November 2025 will be permitted to travel until December 07, 2025.
Additionally, the deadline for issuing all season tickets for December 2025 has been extended until December 14, 2025. The issuance period for school season tickets, however, will be extended further, until December 19, 2025, to accommodate students affected by the weather-related disruptions.
The Railway Department urges passengers to make use of the extended timelines and assures continued support during the recovery period.
