While issuing an official advisory, the DMC requested citizens to rely only on verified updates and to avoid sharing unconfirmed reports that may cause unnecessary panic.
The Centre highlighted that accurate and timely information can be obtained through the DMC’s 117 hotline, which operates around the clock to assist the public during emergencies.
