Around 100 families in Kaluaggala Kanda, Divulapitiya, Gampaha, have been temporarily evacuated from their homes due to the risk of a possible landslide.
Gampaha District Secretary Lalinda Gamaga stated that residents from three high-risk Grama Niladhari divisions under the Divulapitiya Divisional Secretariat have been relocated as a precautionary measure.
Authorities are continuing to monitor ground conditions while providing necessary assistance to the evacuated families.
