A high-level discussion between India’s NASSCOM delegation and Sri Lanka’s SLASSCOM leadership was held in Colombo on December 4 to explore collaboration in the digital economy and new investment opportunities.

NASSCOM, representing more than 3,000 Indian technology companies, joined SLASSCOM, which comprises over 350 Sri Lankan IT and BPM firms, to discuss the future direction of Sri Lanka's ICT sector.

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya thanked the delegation for proceeding with their annual visit despite the recent natural disaster, noting that their presence reflects confidence in Sri Lanka’s stability and recovery.
