A 40-year-old man travelling in a three-wheeler was injured in a shooting incident in the Boralugoda area of Kosgama this evening (03). He was admitted to the Avissawella Hospital for treatment.
Police said initial investigations revealed that the suspects arrived on a motorcycle. The motive for the attack and details of the firearm used have not yet been established.
Four police teams, are conducting investigations to arrest the suspects.
