As Sri Lanka continues to recover from the devastating impact of Cyclone Ditwah, the United Kingdom has announced it will provide $890,000 (£675,000) in urgent humanitarian assistance.

The funding will be delivered through the Red Cross, United Nations Sri Lanka, and local partner organizations, aimed at providing emergency supplies and life-saving care to communities hardest hit by the cyclone.

The UK’s support comes as Sri Lanka works to restore basic services, rebuild damaged infrastructure, and assist thousands of families displaced by the severe flooding and landslides triggered by Cyclone Ditwah.
