According to the Department, 19 train services will operate along the Main Line, but services will be limited to the stretch between Colombo Fort and Ambepussa, and from Ambepussa back to Colombo Fort, as certain sections remain obstructed.
Meanwhile, 34 train services along the Coastal Line will operate as scheduled, with no major disruptions reported on that route.
On the Puttalam Line, a total of 18 train services are expected to operate, covering the section from Colombo Fort to Kochchikade and Negombo.
Additionally, the Department has arranged 10 train services to run on the Kelani Valley Line, ensuring essential connectivity despite the challenges.
The Railway Department notes that further adjustments may be made depending on the evolving situation and advises commuters to stay updated on the latest announcements before travelling.
