Starlink has announced a special relief initiative to support communities in Sri Lanka and Indonesia affected by the severe flooding triggered by Cyclone Ditva. Under this programme, both new and existing customers in the impacted areas will receive free Starlink service until the end of December.
The company stated that all currently active customers will automatically receive free service credits, with no additional steps required. Customers whose accounts were suspended or deactivated will also be granted complimentary credits, enabling them to reactivate their connections during this period.
Starlink further confirmed that new customers in affected regions will also be eligible for free service once their packages are purchased and activated. Users have been asked to tag their accounts as “Indonesian Flood Aid” or “Sri Lanka Flood Aid” after activation to ensure proper assistance.
