Accordingly, trading activities will be halted at 12:30 p.m., the CSE stated.
The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of investors, brokers, and all market staff, as heavy rains and strong winds continue to disrupt normal operations across the island.
The CSE further noted that normal trading is expected to resume once weather conditions improve and it is safe for all stakeholders.
