Sri Lanka Railways announced that train services on the upcountry line will operate only between Colombo Fort and Rambukkana until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, 28 November).
According to officials, the decision was taken due to prevailing conditions affecting the track beyond Rambukkana. Train movements further up the line will remain temporarily suspended until safety is assured.
Sri Lanka Railways stated that updates regarding the restoration of full services will be issued depending on the situation, and passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
