The tournament will begin in New Delhi before moving to Bengaluru, with the final leg featuring 15 matches including the semi-finals and final set to take place in Colombo.
The announcement was made at Taj Samudra, Colombo, with Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage and officials from India and Sri Lanka’s blind cricket associations present.
Organizers hailed the event as a “game-changing moment” for women’s blind cricket, while Sri Lankan representative M.R. Sudesh Tharanga said the country was “honoured to share hosting duties” for this historic tournament.
