The Department of Wildlife Conservation has announced the launch of an online ticketing system for national park visits, effective from today (10). Visitors can now purchase entry tickets via the department’s official website, eliminating the need for on-site queues.
This initiative follows reports of long queues at Kaudulla National Park yesterday (09), which caused considerable inconvenience to both local and foreign tourists. Officials say the new system aims to streamline entry procedures and improve the visitor experience at popular wildlife destinations.
