10-Hour Water Cut in Gampaha District Today

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that the water supply to several areas in the Gampaha District will be suspended today (09) from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The 10-hour interruption is due to cleaning and sterilization work on the transmission pipeline from Nittambuwa to Minuwangoda under the Gampaha, Attanagalla, and Minuwangoda Integrated Water Supply Scheme.
Areas affected include Ranpokunagama, Bataleeya, Attanagalla, Pasyala, Nittambuwa, Kandahena, Mapalagolla, Kongashandiya, Pinnagollawatta, Kolawatta, Gorakadeniya, Urapola, Dikkanda, Meewitigammana, Maimbula, Mathalana, Haggalla, Alawala, Kalalpitiya, and Ellamulla.
