Shooting Incident reported in Kothalawala, Kaduwela

A shooting incident was reported in the Kothalawala area, Kaduwela, a short while ago.
Police opened fire while attempting to arrest a suspect who allegedly tried to attack them with a sword. The suspect sustained injuries and was admitted to Mulleriyawa Hospital for treatment. Police say the shots were fired in self-defence.
