According to the developers, the app was designed to minimise land damage and prevent human casualties by alerting people when elephants are nearby. Currently, around 3,000 people across the country are already using the service.
When an elephant is spotted in a particular location, users can instantly report it through the app. A notification is then sent to others within a five-kilometre radius, warning them to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
In addition to elephant sightings, the app also enables users to report related incidents such as elephant deaths, human fatalities due to elephant encounters, property damage, and wildlife crimes, making it a valuable tool for both community safety and conservation efforts.
