An individual has sustained injuries following a shooting incident that occurred in Navinna, Maharagama yesterday (06), according to the Police Media Division.
Police stated that an unidentified assailant, who arrived on a scooter, carried out the shooting and fled the scene. The injured victim has been admitted to hospital for further treatment.
Investigations are currently underway to apprehend the suspect and determine the motive behind the attack.
