Backed by a US$ 1.2 billion investment from John Keells Holdings (JKH), the project sees Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan gracing the grand opening ceremony today.
Formerly known as Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the development has been renamed following JKH’s partnership with global casino operator Melco Resorts and Entertainment Limited. The final components unveiled include the luxury Nüwa hotel, a premium shopping mall, and a 180,000 sq.ft. world-class casino—into which Melco has invested around US$ 125 million.
