With the inclusion of June’s official figures, the cumulative total of tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka for this year has now reached 1,266,809.
Breaking down the arrivals by country, India continues to lead with 261,681 visitors, followed by the United Kingdom with 118,555, and Russia with 113,888 tourists.
The SLTDA highlights this growth as a positive indicator of the island's ongoing recovery and appeal as a travel destination in the global tourism market.
