CSE Resumes Trading After Temporary Halt Due to Technical Glitch

Trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) resumed today (16) after a temporary suspension caused by a technical issue in the broker Order Management System (OMS). The disruption, which affected the majority of broker firms, prompted a halt earlier this morning.
The CSE confirmed that trading recommenced once the issue was resolved. The incident comes a day after a historic milestone, as the All Share Price Index (ASPI) surpassed the 19,000-point mark for the first time in CSE history.
