Three officials from the Narahenpita Motor Vehicle Department, including the Deputy Commissioner and two assistant managers, have been remanded until June 6 for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 4 million.

The suspects were arrested earlier today by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC). The Commission confirmed that the arrests were made in connection with a bribery investigation involving the facilitation of vehicle-related services.
