10-Hour water cut scheduled in Gampaha district on May 23

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced a scheduled 10-hour water supply suspension on May 23 affecting multiple areas within the Gampaha District.
According to the Board, the water cut will impact the following areas:
Urban Council Areas: Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, and Seeduwa
Pradeshiya Sabha Areas: Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda, and Gampaha
The suspension is due to essential maintenance and system upgrades aimed at improving service reliability in the region. The exact start and end times of the suspension have not been specified yet.
Residents are advised to store sufficient water in advance and use water sparingly during this period.
