Woman arrested with Rs. 4 M worth of narcotics at Malabe

Athurugiriya Police arrested a 23-year-old woman in Malabe following the seizure of a large stash of illegal drugs. Acting on a tip-off, officers raided a house on Kahantota Road, uncovering approximately 200 grams of heroin and 7.5 kilograms of Kerala ganja.
The street value of the drugs is estimated at Rs. 4 million. The suspect, a resident of Naula, Bibila, and Nikalanda, was apprehended at the scene. Authorities believe the drugs were intended for local distribution, and investigations are ongoing.
