Judicial Service Commission seals Kaduwela magistrate's official room

It is reported that former Magistrate Chanima Wijebandara will be allowed to appear before the court on Monday (19) and retrieve items belonging to her from her official room.

Arrangements have been made to provide police security for the official room.

The official room has been sealed pending investigations conducted based on several complaints received by the Judicial Service Commission.

At present, steps have been taken to suspend the work of the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court.
