GCE O/L 2024,25 practical exams to be held from May 21–31

According to the Commissioner General of Examinations, it is compulsory for students to sit for both the written and practical components, as marks from both segments will contribute to the final subject grades.

The department has confirmed that admission forms and timetables have already been distributed—school applicants through their respective principals and private applicants via the residential addresses provided in their applications.

In addition, candidates can download their admission cards starting May 19, 2025, by visiting the Department’s official website at www.doenets.lk and entering their examination index number.
