Three young Sri Lankans named in Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list 2025

- Charith N Silva
YouTube sensation Charith N Silva rose to fame with his channel Wild Cookbook, launched during the 2020 pandemic. Known for his creative and engaging cooking videos, Charith has garnered over 10 million subscribers, making it one of Sri Lanka’s most followed channels. In November 2024, he opened his restaurant Wildish in Colombo, blending online success with culinary entrepreneurship.
- Nikin Matharaarachchi
Founder of Synapse AI Labs, Nikin Matharaarachchi made waves with Kommon Poll, an AI-powered social listening tool that provides real-time marketing insights by analyzing keyword trends across social media, blogs, and news platforms. Founded in 2021, Kommon Poll was recognized by the John Keells X startup accelerator program in 2022, underscoring its potential to revolutionize data-driven marketing in the region.
- Yanika Amarasekera-Siyaguna
A graduate of UC Berkeley and Imperial College London, Yanika Amarasekera-Siyaguna is the visionary behind Silver Aisle, Sri Lanka’s first wedding registry platform launched in 2019. Evolving into a versatile e-commerce site, Silver Aisle now offers curated experiences including dining, vacations, and hobby lessons. Yanika also became an independent director at LB Finance in 2023, further cementing her role as a rising business leader in Sri Lanka.
