The Cabinet of Ministers today announced a temporary relaxation of import restrictions, granting approval for the importation of salt until June 10th. The decision aims to address current supply needs and support both consumer and industrial requirements.

Under the revised guidelines, permission has been granted for the importation of non-iodized salt used in industrial processes, as well as iodized salt intended for human consumption. This move is expected to ensure adequate supply in the domestic market and stabilize prices.

Authorities emphasized that this is a time-bound measure, and importers are advised to complete all necessary procedures within the permitted window.
