Sri Lankan actress Semini Iddamalgoda, known for her roles in television Yes Boss and films like Sinahawa Atharin and 28, has been arrested by the Welikada Police. The arrest follows the execution of seven pending warrants related to financial fraud allegations.
Iddamalgoda, who has been active in the entertainment industry since 1994, has previously faced legal issues. In December 2021, she was fined Rs. 15,000 by the Colombo Acting Magistrate for operating a private security firm without a valid license .
