High Commissioner Dissanayake emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “This is a significant achievement for Sri Lankan students. Access to full scholarships at a globally recognized institution like NUS will open transformative opportunities for our country’s future scholars.”
The initiative was coordinated by Assistant Professor Suranga Nanayakkara of NUS, with the support of several faculty members who participated in the event, underscoring the university's commitment to strengthening international academic ties.
The new agreement reflects the growing emphasis on global cooperation in higher education and is expected to pave the way for increased academic exchange and development between Sri Lanka and Singapore.
