May 6 th Island-wide voting to take place from 7 AM to 4 PM
Local government elections will be held today (May 6), with the Election Commission confirming that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and orderly voting process.
Polling will take place from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 13,759 polling centers across the island. A total of 17,156,338 registered voters are eligible to cast their votes in this year's elections.
The Election Commission has urged all voters to adhere strictly to the guidelines issued and to visit polling stations early to avoid last-minute crowds. Voters are encouraged to cooperate fully with election officials to maintain order and efficiency throughout the day.
