Postal vote for 2025 LG Election concludes today

The process, which began on April 24, allowed eligible public sector employees to cast their postal votes ahead of the main election date. Election Commission Chairman R.M.A.L. Rathnayake confirmed that government officials who were unable to mark their postal ballots earlier will have their final opportunity today.

Rathnayake emphasized that there will be no extension granted beyond the scheduled deadline, urging all eligible voters to ensure their participation before the end of the day.
