Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha, has reaffirmed India's commitment to supporting the development of sports in Sri Lanka.
During a meeting with Sri Lanka’s Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage, today (January 6), the High Commissioner expressed India’s willingness to assist unconditionally in promoting cricket and other sports across the country.
He also highlighted the importance of conducting sports development programs and strengthening bilateral ties in youth affairs between the two nations.
Following the meeting, the Indian High Commission shared on ‘X’ ( formerly Twitter) that the discussion focused on leveraging the shared potential of youth and exploring further cooperation in sports and youth development.
