United National Party (UNP) leader and former President Ranil Wickremesinghe officially began the New Year's activities yesterday (January 3) at the UNP headquarters, Sirikotha, in Pitakotte, and the New Democratic Front (NDF) main office in Colombo.
The events were attended by UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene and other prominent party members.
Wickremesinghe, who returned to Sri Lanka on January 2 after a visit to India, launched the party’s activities for 2025 with these gatherings.
